Update: DHC Deep Cleansing Oil

Bottoms up! I've finished the full-sized bottle of this amazing cleansing oil. Before that, I was using the sample I won in the Lotus Palace giveaway. I loved this oil to the last drop.

The pros, in brief, are:

• Fragrance-free
• Olive-oil based (I can imagine that it's full of good stuff for my skin!)
• Removes every last bit of makeup
• Rinses off well, without leaving any residue (unlike Shu Uemura, in my experience)

The cons:

• Fragrance-free - I found the "fragrance-free" scent slightly unpleasant when I first started using it, but I got used to it in no time.
• Quite viscous so I need a relatively larger amount to distribute all over my face
• Not locally available

I have moved on to a new cleansing oil, Kose Seikisho Perfect Cleansing Oil, which I will review soon.

Gatsby Black Powdered Oil Clear Paper

I love this stuff! It's so absorbent! Just one sheet of this can absorb more oil than two of those blue Clean & Clear Oil Control Sheets. This saves me from looking greasy and feeling icky by mid-day. It gives me a nice matte finish - and no, it doesn't stain my face black at all. :)

Review: Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Combination/Oily Skin

Many beauty bloggers and YouTube makeup gurus have raved about this product, and I was looking for a new liquid foundation with medium-to-full coverage, so when I passed by the Revlon counter during my usual rounds at the beauty section, I went right ahead and bought one.

Color
Sand Beige is a perfect match for my skintone! (I'm MAC NC25 for reference.)

Consistency
Not too thick and not too fluid.

Coverage and Finish
Great coverage that's buildable from medium to full. Semi-matte finish.

Oil Control
Doesn't make me greasy.

Staying Power
Superb! Lasts all day, doesn't budge when I perspire, doesn't cake, doesn't settle on pores.

Fragrance
No strong fragrance, just a mild, barely noticeable scent which I like.

Suitability for Acne-prone Skin
Does not break me out.

Packaging
Horrible. It has a screw-on cap, no pump/dispenser and I can't squeeze the container since it's a glass bottle. I have to pour some at the back of my hand and it's hard to control the amount that comes out so I usually end up wasting the product. I'll try to look for a pump or squeeze-type container to transfer this into.

Overall
I love this foundation. :) It's the first liquid foundation I've tried that really suits my skin. It looks very natural, like second skin, and the color is just right for me. It's cheap, too! I definitely recommend it. :)
