Review: By Nature Mint Fantasia Soap

"This soap is perfect for those who enjoy the cool and tingling sensation of mints. It is a wonderful soap for soothing aching and tired muscles." Image and description from www.bynaturehandmadesoaps.com

This soap gave me a couple of surprises. When I first used it, I was surprised that it had little beads - that wasn't mentioned in the website description. I have a thing against beaded soaps. They usually irritate my skin and make my eczema flare up to insane degrees. So I groaned and thought I'd just try it out and throw it away if I noticed the tiniest bit of irritation on my skin.

The other surprise I got was that I actually liked it. It really gave a cooling, minty feeling on the skin and this perked me up in the mornings. The beads didn't turn out too harsh - I found that as long as I was careful to use the soap gently, I didn't get any rashes or eczema flareups. The mint may have helped soothe my eczema, too. It didn't have any harsh scents so no allergic rhinitis attacks for me. And lastly, as with all other By Nature soaps I've tried, it didn't dry out my sensitive skin and even made it feel soft and smooth afterwards. :)

Review: By Nature Milkenhoney Soap

I have a long backlog of soaps to review, so let me tick one off the list: the By Nature Milkenhoney Soap.

Milkenhoney (100% NATURAL) The perfect soap for those who love anything with milk and honey. The milk makes your skin feel extra soft and supple after every wash, while the honey acts as a natural moisturizer and antibacterial.

Main Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Olive Oil

Image and description from the By Nature website

I used this up a long time ago. It didn't really impress me. :( I thought the scent was a little too mild, I could barely smell any fragrance in the shower. That kind of made me sad. Haha. It did make my skin soft and smooth after taking a bath, though, like all the other By Nature soaps I've tried. It also did not leave any residue. However, for PHP 95 per bar, I wouldn't say it's worth it. The Dairy Bar remains to be my favorite from this brand.
